Extravagant Love, Not Management

What looks like waste may actually be worship.

In Matthew 26:6–13, a nameless woman pours out an extravagant gift at Jesus’ feet—and the disciples panic. Their critique sounds responsible, even moral. But Jesus sees something deeper: fear, insecurity, and the haunting question we all carry—am I enough?

In this stewardship sermon, Pastor Nate explores how Jesus frees us from the exhausting project of self-justification. We are not saved by being right, responsible, or impressive. We are saved by Christ’s extravagant love poured out on the cross.

Because of that love, generosity is no longer a test—it’s a response of joy.
