I served three congregations in Minnesota and Upstate New York before serving Trinity Lutheran Seminary and Capital University, both in Columbus, Ohio. I am delighted to serve in a collaborative ministry setting at Bethany, where pastors, staff and lay leaders work together to create vibrant ministry.

My spouse, Karen, and I enjoy skiing and hiking. I also love softball and ping-pong. On Saturdays in the fall I carve out time to root for the Ohio State Buckeyes football team.
