When Worry Takes Hold: Learning to Pray with Open Hands

Jun 21, 2026    Debra Alba

Worry has a way of tightening our hands, our bodies, and our hearts. In this sermon, we hear Jesus’ invitation to notice the birds, the lilies, and the quiet promise that God already knows what we need. Through Paul’s words from prison and the lessons prepared for Bethany’s summer day camp, we are reminded that God meets us in our worry with presence, prayer, gratitude, and peace.
