Trinity Sunday: God’s Love Is Bigger Than We Think
On Trinity Sunday, Pastor Gary reflects on the mystery of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, not as a puzzle we have to solve, but as a promise we are invited to live. God is expressive, expansive, and inclusive, and we are created in God’s image to carry that love into the world.
This sermon reminds us that faith is not about having every theological answer figured out. It is about knowing that God is with us, God does not abandon us, and God sends us to live with mercy, forgiveness, justice, and care for all creation.
What You’ll Learn:
See the Trinity as a promise of God’s full presence, not just a doctrine to explain
Understand baptism as an invitation into God’s expansive love
Remember that being made in God’s image means living with mercy, care, and responsibility
Hear why no one is beyond God’s reach or outside God’s love
Consider how God calls us to bring comfort, hope, and love into the world
Matthew 28:16-20
Psalm 8
