I'm too...

The Bible is filled with people who were too small, weak, clumsy, tongue-tied, afraid… Why should we be any different? God does not always ask us to get over our fear. Sometimes God just chooses to show up and work with us in the midst of our fears. Moses speaks, Jeremiah prophecies, Solomon dispenses wisdom, Elijah carries on…

Being too (fill in the blank) might just be your superpower. There are no promises. You may not be heralded as accomplishing something extraordinary, but God will be with you. Knowing this, as a first step, might just make the risk worth taking.

God, give me courage, and let me know that you are with me. Amen.
