God, I need

God, I need…
All throughout Lent, Pastor Nate will be sharing reflections on ways to start a conversation with God. These short prayer prompts provide you with a way to begin your prayers on a variety of topics. Today, we come before God in our vulnerability, acknowledging our needs.
We all have moments when we feel overwhelmed, unsure, or inadequate. It can be difficult to admit that we need help, but the truth is, we were never meant to walk through life alone. God knows our needs even before we ask, yet God delights in hearing our voices and in drawing us near to God’s presence.
When we pray, “God, I need…” we are not only acknowledging our dependency on God but also expressing trust that God will provide. Whether it’s wisdom in a difficult decision, comfort in a time of grief, strength in our weakness, or simply reassurance of presence, the truth of our faith is that God meets us in our need.
Today, take a moment to bring your needs before God. What is weighing on your heart? What are you struggling with, and where do you need God’s help? Trust that God hears you, cares for you, and is always faithful to meet you where you are.
