Happy Birthday Jesus

“ Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Luke 2:11-12


We intentionally celebrate Jesus’ birthday at church with a party to teach our children that the real focus of Christmas is the birth of Jesus into our world. God loves us so much! God came to be with us! We celebrate with awe, wonder and joy! We celebrate with crafts, balloons, games, food and a birthday cake! We bring gifts for the children in our community who are in need. We celebrate by singing, “Happy Birthday!” to Jesus. As we celebrate we teach our children that the true gift of Christmas is Jesus. Our gift to baby Jesus is how we share that same love, unconditional with everyone we meet. Let’s continue the joyful celebration!
