Joy in Listening

Let it be known to you then that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will listen. Acts 28:28
Paul knew that the message of salvation in Jesus Christ would not immediately be received by all Jews. He also knew that many Gentiles would receive this message with joy. He wanted for those who were sharing the message to continue doing so, knowing that their message would not fall on deaf ears.
You may have heard the Christmas story 100 times and still be filled with joy when you hear it again. I cannot remember the first time that I heard the Christmas story, I was too young. But I know when I hear it again this year that I will listen. It is the story of salvation. It is worth hearing, again and again.
During this season of Advent listen to the story, and share the story.
Peace,
Pastor Gary
