The birth of Jesus is this amazing historic moment when God willingly chooses to take on our fragile human existence in a personal way. The Creator of the entire universe became a human being and entered this world in a physical way as a vulnerable child, born to unwed parents, resting on his first night an animal’s feeding trough. These details speak to the incredible humility of God and they remind us that there is absolutely no place God is not willing to go in order to build a stronger relationship with us.
The incarnation of God is surprising and groundbreaking and completely changes the way we understand God’s very character.
