Epiphany is a season of light and a time when God’s presence is revealed in unexpected places. Every Wednesday and Friday during the Epiphany season, we will be sharing a devotional reflection that invites us to follow Christ as our Rising Star, pausing to reflect on how his light continues to guide our faith and shape our lives.
TODAY: Stars teach us about unknown aspects of the universe. Jesus teaches us how to live.
The study of stars has allowed scientists to discover the enormity of the universe. We once thought stars where just twinkling lights in the sky, but over time we have learned that each star represents an entire solar system!
Just as stars have taught us about the massive nature of the universe, Jesus came to teach us about the unlimited expanses of God’s love for us.

O give thanks to the Lord, for God is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever.
Consider what it means for you to believe in a God who will never stop loving you. How could this knowledge change your approach to each day?

Thank you Jesus, joining us in our suffering, and always providing us with hope for tomorrow. AMEN.
